Ever since I was little, I was pretty obsessed with cherries. I wished for many cherry things.. like cherry Trident. That came true. Cherry mentos... someone told me that came true for a limited time. Also Cherry Tic Tacs... that didn't come true until the recent years; they came out with Cherry & Passion Fruit flavor (the Tic Tac box with the separate red and yellow colors). Then.. now they have the minty ones "Exotic Cherry" CHILL.. in a larger than normal, red container with larger sized mint. Sounds weird.. but intriguing, so I had to try it. In case you wanted the glory details of the mighty Exotic Cherry Tic Tac Chill experience: To open the box, you rip the plastic on top to break the seal, and slide down. I initially tried sliding up and couldn't understand why it didn't open.. and the 2nd time, I flipped open with my nail, which snapped off the door...so I had to fix it and slide it back in. (We forget to read tiny label these days). It also opens on the top side, similar to the regular sized Tic Tac boxes. The tic tacs itself are sugar free and artificially flavored. They feel a little more matte textured and softer (easier to chew) than the small shiny hard mints. It has this sugar free gum like cherry tart taste in the mouth and does feel cool and minty chill. Not a burst of flavor like the sugared Cherry & Passion Fruit flavored tic tacs, but just a light fruity mint if you want your mouth refreshed. As for the self breath test, I'm not sure if there's anything scientific about breathing out into my hand and sniffing, but it did smell fruity afterwards and my mouth tasted cherry chill afterwards. I guess the fact that fruity is mixed with mint, makes it bizarre but somewhat exotic.
