![]() Another food experiment I made that actually came out decent looking and of course tasty. Baked pasta with melted cheese, topped with seasoned breadcrumb crust on juicy chicken breast. You can try this easy recipe and your taste buds will be pleased.
It's been awhile since I posted a recipe. This recipe I have cooked the pasta separate, but you can bake the probably when there's about 20 minutes left of cooking time without he chicken. Slice a few chicken breasts as desired into chunks. Lay them in a glass casserole dish. Mix in some seasoning like garlic powder, black pepper, generous amounts of oregano and Italian type seasonings (parsley, etc). I don't normally cook with salt, but add a little salt for flavor if desired unless the breadcrumbs already has salt. Layer chicken with seasoned breadcrumbs on top (comes in a container) until completely covered (1 layer to cover, & 1 layer to crisp). Or you can season the breadcrumbs yourself. Chicken breasts are generally known to be dry but the breadcrumbs covering will keep the moisture in and the chicken from drying. The bottom layer of bread crumbs will be a little moist. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 45 minutes or until cooked. Top chicken topping with cooked pasta on top of melted cheese. Enjoy!
