Ok this garlic bread doesn't look too bad for the 1st try... maybe a little weird. I thought I'd write a quick article about it anyways. I had some left over french bread, fresh garlic, and some margarine in my fridge but no, whatever green stuff is usually on garlic bread. Chives? My friend who lives on a farm (and practically off his garden), knew the perfect thing for it--some sort of scallion-chive hybrid looking veggie. I made sure it wasn't poisonous, diced it along with the garlic, mixing it into the margarine and pasted it a thin layer on sliced garlic bread, popped it in the little toaster oven 250 degrees (depending on oven) for a few minutes until golden brown, and voila.. a tasty treat! It tastes just like garlic bread you get in the frozen aisle, except fresher and better. You can probably also wrap it in foil (unbaked) and pop it in the freezer to save for later as well.
