Years ago, my dad used to get these jumbo ginormous shrimps that were the size of the palm of my hands. Monstrous. We ate them like people would eat lobster.

The large shrimps tasted slightly different than the regular sized shrimps.  I prefer shrimp over lobster and my favorite "regular" sized shrimps are called Tiger shrimp, which are slightly larger than average, juicy, tasteful, and is fleshy like lobster but on a smaller scale.  In comparison to to the Tiger, the larger shrimp, depending on what kind, taste similar to Tiger, but not quite as good. (Like the King crab not being as tasty as the regular sized crabs).  Cocktail style, I prefer lime, salt and pepper mix as #1, and once in awhile a hint of the cocktail sauce, sometimes a combo of both, instead of the lemon squeeze.
