| What I Call "Egg Salad" |

![]() This is what I call "egg salad" and this is how I interpreted when I was younger, (that "egg salad" is egg IN salad). I couldn't comprehend "salad" without salad, thinking that "salad" is a synonym of lettuce, instead of a mixture of veggies together. Language and cultural differences probably attributed to the confusion so I always called lettuce, "salad." Anyways, this pic was taken in 2007, another one of those experiments when I was hungry, had little food and didn't want to spend much money on groceries and eating out. I cooked scrambled eggs seasoned with garlic powder and ground black pepper, tossed it in a bowl full of ripped up lettuce and topped it with croutons, maybe some shredded cheese and my favorite semi-fancy salad dressing. There we go... "egg salad." The other option is to put the egg on the side instead of mixing it in (like the picture below).. then it'll be egg AND salad. ![]()
