Bat For Lashes - What's a Girl To Do? PDF Print E-mail

What is a girl to do??  A pretty bizarre Bats For Lashes song and music video I came across.

The first time I heard "What's a Girl To Do?" was probably on one of the modern rock internet radio stations.  It sounded pretty bizarre with a very creepy Halloween sounding instrumentals to it.  I knew I had to check out the music video to see what they'd put in a video for a song like that.  Turns out the music video was just as bizarre with an eerie Halloween like setting.

Singer is riding a bicycle in down a long dark woodsy road and suddenly a few more bicyclists emerge from behind her but they are in animal costumes as if they were really animals.  The animal bicyclists are evenly synced behind her in their hops, claps and tricks.  Eventually smoke appear, the camera pans to another set of people in costume, standing there, then back to her with the animal bicyclist.

Bats For Lashes's real name, Natasha Khan, has a few more pretty bizarre music videos (click on link in video) that feature keyboard/piano instruments that I'll likely mention later.  Enjoy!
