Flame Retardant Suit
By Matt Simone
submitted on: 2000

I could stare at you
Until you catch fire.
I could tear into
your deepest thoughts.

This misdirected anger
Is for you to see
That I'm not OK.

My heart is shreaded by unknown claws.
Past incidents bring me
Back to these feelin's I'm having right now.
And the fire is all too familiar for words.

You wear that flame retardent suit very well. '
I'm glad that 't fits you 'cus this is my hell.
This fire inside me is ready to go.
I hope I can show you someday...
