Mr. Smiley
By Phuc
written on: Feb 09 2000

One day I went to Lake Compounce
On July the 31st
I walked towards a little store
For a drink to quench my thirst.
But then I came across
This tiny little store
I walked into the shop
That didn't have a door.
I saw something great
That really caught my eye
This stress reliever key chain
I definitely want to buy.
He looks so happy
Which affected me
He made me smile
So I named him Mr. Smiley.
A couple days went by: So Mr. Smiley!
What are we going to do today?
I'll bring you to school
So you could meet my friends and play!
So I went on everyday
And brought Mr. Smiley to school
He instantly became famous
Everyone thought he was cool.
So everybody played with him
They squished him all around.
He cheered everyone up
When they were feeling down.
I let my friend borrow Mr. Smiley
Just for one day
She left him unattended
These people wanted to play.
My friend Coca-Cola came back
Had a lot of stress
Someone popped Mr. Smiley!
She became depressed.
Please forgive me Phuc!
Someone hurt Mr. Smiley!
I don't know who it was
It is all a mystery!
So people are curious
To what Mr. Smiley contained
They abused him so that he would ooze
Even though the answer is still unexplained.
I patched up his boo-boo
By putting a band aid on his head
Mr. Smiley's smile has faded
But he is more alive than dead.
The legend of Mr. Smiley
Still lives on and on
Though so much abuse he went through
He still remains forever strong!
