Crazy Thoughts to a Padded Wall
By Markus Pope
submitted on: 1999

Thought comes and thought goes
Memory, he never truly knows

What's real and what's only
Dreams to suffocate the lonely

Lonely brought on by fears
And years wrought with tears

Countless days screaming down halls
Staring at ceilings and writing on walls

Finally, losing the last fragments of mind
Jumbled like a video in perpetual rewind

It's ok, cause walls padded and white
Can't tell him what's wrong and what's right

Make prejudgments that are meant
To encourage so called evil minds to repent

F*ck 'em he shouts giving finger to air
Hand on a head, hair no longer there

Shaved to demean, shaved to enthrall
Crazy thoughts to a padded wall
